ALERT: Worship & other activities suspended until at least June 28.
Traditional Faith for Turbulent Times
ATTENTION: ALL ACTIVITIES
SUSPENDED UNTIL JUNE 28
St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, in concert with all Episcopal Churches in the state of Nebraska, will not be holding Sunday worship until at least June 28 in response to the spreading COVID-19 virus (or coronavirus). We have decided that the risks of Sunday worship and fellowship time are too high for members of our congregation and our community as a whole.
There will be further communication of how we will strive to be a community of faith during this difficult time. Please contact the church office if you are not subscribed to our weekly e-mail communications.
Lastly, be sure to hold up the Grand Island community--including its elected officials, first responders and medical professionals--in prayer as they prepare to respond to this global pandemic.
Weekly Worship Opportunities
//We are a multi-generational and multi-ethnic church with a growing downtown ministry. Grand Island's oldest faith community is future-facing, seeking God in His Word and following Jesus Christ where He leads us. God continues to spread His Kingdom, and we're getting caught up in it! At St. Stephen's you can find your place in this Kingdom, too, in fellowship with other pilgrims of all backgrounds and walks of life.
// Come and be part of our community of the risen Lord. Worship with us, share the peace, and join in the heavenly feast of the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist. Then join us for Coffee Hour afterwards! We'd love to have you as our special guest!
